About the Job

As a part-time, self-employed Relocation Specialist, you’ll be the trusted partner and primary contact for relocating employees during their transition. Your responsibilities encompass local home finding, including property research, itinerary building via our technology, accompanying viewings, contract negotiation, and support with various relocation-related tasks.

In this customer-facing role, you will be expected to:

  • Act as the relocating employee’s primary point of contact
  • Build strong relationships with relocating employees
  • Manage destination services and expectations in a proactive manner
  • Conduct pre-arrival needs assessments (phone/Zoom etc.)
  • Research suitable properties and arrange viewings
  • Provide accompanied area and property tours, including school visits where required
  • Offer virtual tours when necessary
  • Negotiate favourable rental contract terms
  • Assist with property check-ins
  • Offer guidance on local amenities and activities
  • Respond to communication within specified timeframes
  • Align with our core values of customer focus, equality and respect for people, openness and transparency, and integrity
  • Align with our environmental objectives, carrying out duties with sustainability in mind

Qualifications & Skills Required

  • Previous estate/letting agency or relocation industry experience is essential
  • Legal right to work in the UK is essential
  • Currently living in or very near to the specified location is essential
  • Car ownership and a driving licence are essential
  • Working knowledge of office technology
  • Excellent local area, housing market, and school knowledge.
  • Efficient, organised, and capable of quickly resolving issues
  • Effective communicator (especially listening skills)
  • Confident and outgoing personality
  • Have lived abroad or assisted others in moving abroad
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Weekend work is desirable but not required
  • Own phone and laptop or equivalent device are required
  • Foreign language skills are a valuable asset but not essential

Pay Rates
At Klippa Relocation, we are committed to equitable compensation for our team members. Pay structures are designed to align with the expertise and skills you contribute to our team. Rates are between £250 and £350 (for research + accompanied day) depending on experience and performance. Performance is monitored and assessed in line with our SLAs. This will be assessed biannually (new employees will be evaluated after three months).
